In this post-modern era . . .
poetry is - to me at least - so personal and if it strikes a chord within even though it may not be professionally written then it has done what it set out to do/or should do . . .
once it is written and published (even just on a blog) it almost becomes the property of who ever reads it - their interpretation is what gives it momentum once it is outside of ourself.
For me I am creative (I draw and paint also) and I adore the use of language. And although I cannot consider myself a poet nor a writer(since i don't have any formal knowledge about it)' I see poetry and writing as a chance to send messages, create beautiful pieces of art and also to be used as art therapy.
I also feel that art, particularly writing, provides a window into the soul of the person who created it whether they like it or not and that it is as open to interpretation as much as a person's dreams.
you are an artist with equally strong grip on words. your works are simply fantastic.
